The Aix-Marseille campus has been awarded two new European Twinning projects, selected under the Horizon Europe subprogram: “Widening Participation and Spreading Excellence.”

Twinning projects aim to strengthen networking activities between research institutions in “Widening” countries—which serve as coordinators—and leading European institutions. They are based on partnerships between at least two research institutions from two different Member States or associated countries, with the goal of harnessing the considerable potential of networks of excellence through knowledge transfer and the exchange of best practices.

The two projects are:

GREENEX-TWIN

"Twinning for Excellence in Green Extraction Technologies for the Sustainable Production of Bioactive Compounds"

  • Awardee: Elisabeth BADENS
  • Unit: M2C2

TWIN-BioHEA – LP3 – Catalin-Daniel CONSTANTINESCU

"Twinning for Excellence in Microstructural and Chemical Characterization of Biomedical High-Entropy Alloys"

  • Awardee: Catalin-Daniel CONSTANTINESCU
  • Unit: LP3

Through these two projects, the Aix-Marseille campus reaffirms its commitment to scientific excellence, sustainable innovation, and European cooperation.
