Three new European projects funded for the Aix-Marseille siteThe

Aix-Marseille site confirms its dynamism and scientific excellence with three new European projects funded, illustrating the diversity of themes and funding instruments mobilized. Two projects have been selected as part of theERC Proof of Concept (POC) program, led by Aix-Marseille laureates, and a third project is part of the transerverse pillar, WIDERA call, in which Aix-Marseille is a partner.

PRELUDE - ERC Proof of ConceptPrecise

Deuteration at the Tailored Surface of Nickel Phosphide Nanocatalysts

  • Laureate: Sophie Carenco
  • Unit:CINAM
  • Call: ERC-2025-POCThe

PRELUDE project aims to explore innovative strategies for precise deuteration at the surface of nickel phosphide nanocatalysts, paving the way for advanced applications in catalysis and sustainable chemistry. This Proof of Concept will enable fundamental research results to be transformed into high value-added solutions, drawing on CINAM's recognized expertise in nanomaterials and interfaces.

BioValidR - ERC Proof of ConceptValidating

the Biodiversity Value of nature restoration scenarios for resilient erritories

  • Laureate: Cécile Albert
  • Unit: IMBE
  • Appeal: ERC-2025-POCThe

BioValidR project aims to validate the biodiversity value of nature restoration scenarios, in order to support the construction of more resilient territories in the face of global change.
By combining ecological data, assessment tools and prospective scenarios, this ERC POC project aims to strengthen the societal impact of research results, in close collaboration with planning and public decision-makers.

AEGIS-OA - Horizon Europe WIDENING - ERAActivate

European Guidance and Incentives for Sustainable Open Access publishing

  • Scientific Leader: Karla Avanco
  • Unit: OpenEdition Center (UAR 2504)
  • Call: HORIZON-WIDERA-2025-06-ERA-02The

AEGIS-OA project is in line with the European objectives of strengthening the European Research Area (ERA) and aims to develop frameworks, recommendations and incentives for a sustainable model of open access scientific publication. As a partner, the Aix-Marseille site is actively contributing to this strategic project, drawing on the OpenEdition Center's recognized expertise in open scientific publishing and open science in Europe.
