This year's ERC Advanced Grant 2024 call closes on August 29, 2024. Aimed at researchers with more than 12 years' post-doctoral experience who are recognized in their field, this call funds radically ambitious research projects. Researchers can apply for up to €2.5M to implement their project and generate new knowledge. A prestigious and selective call, the ERC AdG has a European success rate of around 13% to 15%, depending on the year.
To help researchers and teacher-researchers on the Aix-Marseille site submit an ERC AdG 2024 project, the CERCle (Club des ERC du site d'Aix-Marseille) is organizing a support program consisting of :

Presentation of what is expected from the ERC AdG 2024 call, the support offered by the establishments on the site, sharing of experiences of previous winners.

Date: June 3, 2024
Schedule: from 9am
Location: 63 La Canebière, on the MER premises
Led by an external trainer, this session will provide an opportunity to work on candidates' individual projects. It is limited to 8 participants.

For AMU, CNRS, Inserm and IRD staff, the Mission Europe pour la Recherche will provide individual support in setting up the administrative and financial aspects of the project, as well as proofreading where necessary. A bibliometric study can also be carried out for applicants who so wish.
In addition, it is also possible to organize meetings with the ERC National Contact Point to discuss your project.
