Last week our office proudly hosted its first workshop dedicated to incoming postdoctoral candidates for the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships.

The event attracted over 30 participants from around the world, both in-person and online, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to supporting early-career researchers.

During the session, which lasted one afternoon, attendees were provided with a comprehensive overview of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship call expectations, evaluation process, and criteria. We detailed the various sections of the proposal and outlined what is expected in each part. Additionally, we highlighted the extensive resources and support available from our host institutes, including training, data management, open science, and research ethics across our affiliated institutions: CNRS, AMU, IRD, and INSERM.

A key feature of the workshop was a practical hands-on exercise, where candidates began their application process in the online portal, dedicating a quarter of the session to this valuable activity.

The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their gratitude and satisfaction. Comments such as, "Thank you for the amazing workshop," and "The workshop really helped me understand what is expected for these research projects," underscored the event's success.

Encouraged by this positive response, we are pleased to announce that this workshop will now become a standard offering from our office, reinforcing our dedication to fostering research excellence and supporting the next generation of scientific leaders.
