The European Commission has published the preliminary versions of the Horizon Europe 2025 work programs. These documents offer a detailed view of research and innovation funding priorities for the coming year, with more than 7.2 billion euros of investment planned.
Horizon Europe 2025's main
prioritiesBased on the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, the new work programs address three main orientations:
- Green transition 🌱 : Objective of climate neutrality, preservation of biodiversity, fight against pollution.
- Digital transition 💻 : Development of key technologies to strengthen European digital sovereignty.
- Resilient and inclusive Europe 🌍 : Strengthening resilience in the face of crises and promoting an equitable and democratic society.
Themes covered include in particular health, culture and creativity, climate, energy and mobility, industry and space, as well as European innovation ecosystems and research infrastructures.
