On Friday 6 June 2025, our office hosted a successful full-day event dedicated to supporting the development of MSCA-COFUND project proposals.

The gathering featured synthetic oral presentations from four project coordination teams, showcasing their innovative ideas for doctoral or postdoctoral training on a variety of scientific themes. A team of COFUND experts, including our department head, Ms Céline Damon, the former vice-rector for research and a current COFUND laureate, Dr. Philippe Delaporte, alongside two of our scientific advisors and a COFUND project manager, provided invaluable insights throughout the brainstorming day.

As each project was presented, coordinators faced challenging questions that addressed key MSCA-COFUND expectations. The expert panel offered tailored alternative solutions, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at enhancing proposal quality.

Participants expressed their satisfaction, noting that the discussions significantly helped them refine their approaches and better align their projects with COFUND guidelines.

Overall, the event successfully empowered teams to strengthen their proposals and advance their research initiatives.
