Are you preparing a high-stakes funding proposal for the European Research Council (ERC)?

Join our tailored events designed by the ERC Club of Aix Marseille (CERCLe) to help you craft a winning application! All events in English.

The CERCLe now offers two new events targeted at researchers preparing an ERC Synergy Grant!

 

 

 

 

 

Info Sessions (Online - Open to all upon registration)

It is targeted at researchers looking to learn about ERC Synergy and consist of a 1-hour online session.

This session presents funding opportunities offered by the ERC, associated eligibility criteria, and the application procedures. It is an overview of funding opportunities and key success factorsThey

also offer the opportunity to have laureates feedback on the whole ERC process:

  • Frank Schnorrer, team Muscle dynamics at IBDM, kindly accepted to share his experience as an ERC SYG laureate and external evaluator! And
  • Christophe Leterrier, NeuroCyto lab at INP, will give valuable insights as a current panel member.

Writing Workshop Synergy Grants (In Person - Limited Spots)

Writing workshops are dedicated to researchers currently applying or wishing to apply to one of the research institutes in the Aix Marseille perimeter. Participants bring their own project ideas and learn to structure them in line with the ERC grant types. The workshop offers hands-on guidance to refine your Synergy proposal.

Requirements: to have a well drafted idea and proposal, to be engaged in an application process to an ERC upcoming call, to be eligible to that call, and to have sent the required written documents to the trainer a couple of weeks before the workshop (e.g., hypothesis, reply to some questions sent by the coach...). A selection of participants will take place a few weeks before the event, paying attention to achieve a reasonable balance among gender, topics, Tutelles, other diversity aspects.
