Activity report 2025 - Mission Europe pour la Recherche
Mission Europe pour la Recherche (MER) has published its activity report for 2025, a year of consolidation for the Aix-Marseille site.
After a year of installation in 2024, the MER, supported by Aix-Marseille Université, CNRS, Inserm and IRD, confirms its role as a one-stop shop for European research and innovation projects. As the first fully shared European unit in France, it provides a structuring lever for the Europeanization of the site, while simplifying procedures for researchers and harmonizing practices between establishments. 2025 will be a year of sustained momentum, with 267 projects submitted (+35% vs. 2024), 318 projects supported and 26 projects contracted.
The deployment of the Europe 2025-2027 Multiannual Action Plan (PAPE), supported by the Amidex Foundation, has reinforced this dynamic, notably through the launch of the Impulsion Europe Fund, the structuring of the European Project Managers network and the development of the CERCle - ERC club.
In a changing European context, marked by the transition to the future framework program, the MER continues to adapt and professionalize its support.
