As part of our drive to strengthen support for European project applications, as set out in the 2025-2027 multi-annual Europe action plan, we are launching a new initiative at the Aix-Marseille site: the creation of a European project managers network (EPMs).
Objectives :
- Raise the skills of EPMs in the units
- Provide the means for better interfacing with management departments
- Easier recruitment and pooling of EPMs on the site, creating a pool of EPs
- Secure the implementation of projects, particularly with the generalization of lump-sums on FP10
Target groups: EPMs in the units, RAD of units with European projects, researchers and teacher-researchers involved in European projects, financial departments of institutions in charge of the financial management of projects.
Typology of activities:
- Training the network: identifying and mobilizing the pool of EPMsInitiating
- the community: events, training courses, etc.
- Accompanying career paths, with the aim of providing prospects, encouraging staff to upgrade their skills and building loyalty (via at least permanent mission contracts)
- Supporting the upgrading of skills of EPMs and RADs with the transition to FP10, to secure the production of deliverables.
- Training in the use of project management software, as identified in amU's Essentiel roadmap, for which the MER is one of the pilots.
Timetable: training of the network and organization of the first events, start of support for career paths and mutualized recruitment of EPMs in 2025
