Additional external reviews - European projects

As part of our drive to strengthen our support for European project submissions as part of the Europe 2025-2027 Multiannual Action Plan, we are launching a new initiative for our site teams: complementary external project review.

We are looking for evaluators with experience of European collaborative projects (e.g.: expert evaluators from the European Commission, researcher/EC with proven involvement in several European collaborative research projects - notably as coordinator) to act asshadow evaluators for the preliminary European proposals of the MER's founding institutions.

Objectives: Organization of review committees mobilizing site experts and external service providers for collaborative research projects coordinated by a site team.

  • Improve the quality of projects submittedFoster
  • the development of MER staff skills based on external/scientific opinions and viewpointsIndirectly
  • , identify the site's expert evaluators and a pool of external experts, and benefit from their advice and 'reading grids' to improve support for the MER

Your role would be to :

  • Familiarize yourself with the proposal and the requirements of the call (rules, evaluation criteria).
  • Read the full proposal and provide constructive feedback, including expert and non-expert points of view (e.g.: innovation, technology, industry, public policy), enabling the proposal to be improved before submissionThe

evaluation process would last around 2 weeks, with the possibility of financial compensation.
